Just announced: GLASS BODY. PHANTOM HORSE. with Sam Yulsman and Victor Vieira-Branco

We’re thrilled to announce one more concert before the year is out. On December 12, pianist Sam Yulsman and vibraphonist Victor Vieira-Branco will premiere GLASS BODY. PHANTOM HORSE. at University Lutheran.

The piece is inspired by Wilson Harris’ Carnival Trilogy, a series of novels “linked by metaphors borrowed from theatre, traditional carnival itself and literary mythology. The characters make Odyssean voyages through time and space, witnessing and re-enacting the calamitous history of mankind, sometimes assuming sacrificial roles in an attempt to save modern civilisation from self-destruction.”
