Femenine at Harlem Stage, with a nod to our Eastman festival

Previewing Julius Eastman’s Femenine at Harlem Stage with the Harlem Chamber Players and Talea Ensemble, Christopher McIntyre told Pride Index that Bowerbird organized the first major Eastman retrospective festival in 2017, that he was later commissioned to create an engraved score of Femenine, and that he revised it for The Kitchen’s expanded version of Bowerbird’s Julius Eastman: That Which Is Fundamental in January 2018.
