WRTI on resurrecting Julius Eastman

In a report for WRTI, David Patrick Stearns talked with Dustin Hurt, director of Bowerbird, ahead of our two Julius Eastman events on October 16 and 17. Hurt estimated Eastman’s whole output at about 40 pieces, with only the three piano works surviving as complete scores in Eastman’s own hand.
