Two new classes: From Fania to Buchla, and a light theremin build

We’re thrilled to announce two new classes coming to the Neighborhood Sound Lab in December.

On December 3, Sandra James will trace a line from the salsa records of 1970s New York to the Buchla synthesizer in From Fania to Buchla.

A week later, on December 10, Hannah Tardie will lead our first build-your-own class. In Make Your Own Light Theremin, you’ll solder together a small synth that you play with light, and it goes home with you.

Both classes are in the Community Synth Studio at AMLA/Esperanza, and spots are limited. See everything coming up on the Neighborhood Sound Lab page.
